Cargo traffic Latam Airlines fell 10.8% in March

Cargo traffic Latam Airlines Group declined 10.8%, while capacity decreased 2.9%. As a result, the load factor fell 5.1 percentage points to 56.8%. The drop in capacity was due to lower operating cargo aircraft. The drop in traffic is explained by the weakness in imports to Latin America.

Latam Airlines reached 267 million dollars (243 million euros) in its operating income during the fourth quarter of 2014, an increase of 13.7% compared to 234.9 million dollars (214 million euros) of operating income during the same period of 2013.
